Community Living Prince Edward provides supports and services to people with an intellectual disability and their families. We are a voluntary membership organization united by our commitment to a common purpose: we exist facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities into the life of the community and its economy. This mission is addressed in the context of both advocacy activities and service provision.
 
Community Living Prince Edward is located in the downtown Picton area. We employ approximately 170 staff and provide a wide range of supports and services to approximately 400 infants, children, youth, adults, and families in Prince Edward County.
 
Community Living envisions a society where people who have an intellectual disability belong and feel respected. This means that people who have an intellectual disability:
  • live in neighbourhoods of choice
  • go to neighbourhood schools
  • work at real jobs for real pay
  • participate and contribute through volunteer, recreation and leisure activities
  • are valued citizens
