Our MissionTo facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in the life of the community and its economy. This mission is addressed in the context of both advocacy activities and service provision.
Rights Training is a six week course specifically designed for people we support. Materials are in plain language and facilitators use a variety of learning tools such as pictures, words, audio, and visual resources. During the course participants will:

Learn about the things that every Canadian can do - The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom

How to exercise your rights and what responsiblities come with these rights

Learn about rights restrictions and about CLPE's Rights Committee

Learn how to complain and use to Complaint Line and the Complaint Box
Monday Evenings: May 17th - June 21st from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday afternoons: May 18th - June 22nd from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
