There has been a lot of excitement building over the last few weeks and the Ontario Disability Employment Network is excited to start this year’s campaign, especially with Light It Up happening on October 22.

The theme for 2020 is The Power of Inclusion and we are asking everyone to use hashtags #NDEAM2020, #EngageTalent and #ThePowerofInclusion throughout the month when sharing and posting on social media. 

Light It Up

Light It Up is new for NDEAM 2020. Organizations across the province are going to Light Up Ontario in purple and blue for National Disability Employment Awareness Month on October 22. 

ODEN has created a Light It Up PR Kit that includes everything you need to join in this collective effort to light up local office buildings, city halls, bridges, landmarks, municipal signs and public spaces.

To date, 11 cities and 21 sites have confirmed their participation across the province. On October 22, we encourage you to wear purple and blue and to share pictures of your local businesses glowing purple and blue using #LightItUp1022 and tagging ODEN so that we can amplify your message.
