McHappy Day in Picton
Yesterday marked the 26th annual McHappy Day, a one-day celebration in support of Ronald McDonald House and local children’s charities.
This year, the local McDonald's in Picton also raised money for the Recreation Outreach Centre, a group that provides opportunities, mentorship and programs in a safe environment that encourages youth success and contributes to a healthier community in Prince Edward County. Representatives from several agencies, including Community Living Prince Edward, the Picton Detachment of the OPP, ROC, and The County were all invited to participate in this

A Day at the Legislature
May is Community Living Month and on May 6th we were proud to join Community Living Toronto and Community Living Ontario's #ITookaBreak19 campaign to support and celebrate people with intellectual disabilities and build inclusive communities where everyone belongs.
Today, representatives from developmental service agencies across the province, including Community Living Prince Edward, gathered at Queen’s Park for A Day at the Legislature, to advocate for people with an intellectual disability, their families & the organizations supporting them.
