Society of Stitchers
IN THE COMMUNITY 
The Society of Stitchers is an embroidery club that meets during the winter in Prince Edward County. We gather throughout the darkest months for community, craft and the love of stitching. Working on a project centered around a theme, we hone our skills and create textile art that culminates in an exhibition. Over the past eight years The Society of Stitchers has grown, welcoming all ages and skill levels. We are a supportive and friendly group as we share our skills around the table. Stitchers improve their embroidery abilities year over year and new members are always welcome.
For 2024 we will be meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 PM to 7 PM, January 23 to February 29, in our studio in the lower level of the Armoury, Picton. Cost is $25 or Pay What You Can, which includes as many sessions as you’d like and all materials. Our theme this year is “LAND.”
