Joyce Wade and Mike Flynn retired to Prince Edward County in 2012. Soon after their move - and as a direct result of their long-standing connection with Community Living Peterborough - they reached out to Community Living Prince Edward to seek some support for their son Luke.
After finding Luke an apartment in Picton, Joyce and Mike knew that Community Living’s Supported Independent Living resources would be an ideal fit for their son. Conveniently located on Main Street, Wellington Home Hardware is an old-fashioned, small town hardware store. Owner/operator Evan Nash proudly shares, “We are family owned and have proudly served DIYs and professionals alike in Wellington and throughout Prince Edward County since 1905.”
For more than three decades, Wellington Home Hardware has also been the County’s largest supplier of major appliances.
